Gales Creek

First purchase totaled 212 acres with 146 acres of sixty to Newly planted Ponderosa Pinesixty-five year old timber. Many areas have been commercially thinned two and three times. Two acres have been planted in Willamette Valley Ponderosa Pine. Outdoor forest laboratory created and six acres of clearwood pruning established. Constructed a log cabin home in 1994.

 

Manning Unit

Douglas-fir trees were planted on 65 acres in 1986. AfterRoadwork in Manning purchase by Doneen Inc., another 4100 trees were interplanted to increase the stocking level in many areas. This property has been hand fertilized, chemically brush released by aerial spraying, and 5 acres pre-commercially thinned. Until trees reach harvest age, most of the work on this property will be spent in road maintenance.

 

Dairy Creek

Another 212 acres with varying ages of timber. Most diverse Rocking of road on Dairy Creek with our pit rock in types of timber with Douglas-fir, Western Red Cedar, and Hemlock. Newly completed road system with nearly one additional mile of permanent all weather roads opening food access to all areas. Rock pit opened in 1998 for use on the newly constructed roads.
