Riparian activities on Little Beaver Creek
- reforest creek banks as a result of beaver damage

Previous planting of Willamette Valley Ponderosa Pine, Western Red Cedar and Coast Redwoods on 3 acre area along main stream and small tributary over the 2000-2003 period. In 2003 received a grant from Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board through the Tualatin River Watershed Council. Plan to plant 300 Western Red Cedar in 2004 and 300 more Western Red Cedar in 2005. These trees will be hand wired and have seedling protection tubes to prevent future beaver, deer and elk damage.
Due to failure of the Western Red Cedar to establish 300 Coast Redwoods were replanted in this area. In Dec 2006 100 more Coast Redwoods were replaninted along with native hemlock, cedar and Grand Fir. During this period the tubing was removed from the cedar upon findind that the decidious leaves fell in the tubing shading the young trees and causing them to die.

Allowable Cut
1992-2003

We pride ourselves in the fact that our harvests are less timber than the allowable cut. Each year the reserve of standing forest continues to expand for future generations.

Yearly Harvest
Sort percentages

We feel fortunate that our forest contains multiple products from which to choose. This choice of which product to harvest depends to two major factors. Primarily, our harvests are driven by silvicultural practice and secondarily by market supply and demand.
